Atom comes back to Simac Tanning Tech, the event that hosts the most updated technologies for footwear, leather goods and tanning production. The 2024 edition took place at Fiera Milano Rho from 17th to 19th September: for the occasion, Atom presented a series of innovative proposals with the aim of maximizing material yields.
Atom presented the new FlashCut Master 3185, an ideal solution for medium and large footwear and leather goods productions which combines and optimizes many of the strengths of the previous Atom models. Suitable for every type and size of leather, it has two cutting heads capable of working non-stop and guaranteeing high productivity. It is also equipped with a new nesting system, redesigned for specific use in footwear and leather goods. Finally, the IoT electronic architecture offers the connection and exchange of data between operating systems and therefore allows an improvement in the overall efficiency of the system. The Atom proposal was completed by the new Intelliscan NX and the FlashCut L30 VRX with automatic visual recognition technology.
As regards the suite of integrated CADCAM solutions Shoemaster® for 3D Design, ATOM will launch the latest version of the platform, enriched with several features for virtual prototyping.
The possibility of creating digital twins of finished products is an increasingly pressing need for companies in the sector, which must react to growing requests for process efficiency and cost reduction through the adoption of digital technologies.
Shoemaster® 21 answers to these needs by providing a solution able to create increasingly realistic virtual prototypes, and subsequently integrate design with production, building a continuum of information and data that contribute to construct the company’s information infrastructure.
